This is the wire retainer that fits the Mallory #29745 eight cylinder external coil cap. This helps to restrain the wires both vertically and horizontally, so the wires don’t come off in high speed and high vibration applications.

Fits both 4&8 cylinder magnetos for the following models:
- Sprint Mag II, Sprint Mag III
- Super Mag II, Super Mag III, Super Mag IV, Super Mag V

Fits the following Mallory distributors as well:
- Crank Trigger Distributor
- Billet Competition 81-84 series and Comp 9000 85-99 series distributors
